I grew up in the travel industry, with my mom working as a travel consultant from the time I was about 12-years-old. I remember sitting at a desk with my mom helping to plan Disney vacations, most notably. Some of it was pretend play and some of it was me really helping her plan! But the travel bug bit me...& it bit HARD!
I grew to have such a love and amazement with travel. I loved planning my own trips, I felt so alive when traveling. I was enamored by places I have yet to visit & left my heart in so many places I had visited.
I knew travel had to be a big part of my life in some way, shape or form.
Fast forward a few years as I was in college and my love and passion for health and wellness exploded. After suffering with an eating disorder for years, from the time I was thirteen, health and wellness really interested me on so many levels.
I became an ACE (American Council on Exercise) personal trainer in 2004 and worked as a trainer for several years before going back to school. In 2006, I studied to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach through Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in affiliation with American Association for Drugless Practitioners (AADP). From this point, I knew I had to work with people on a deep level- far beyond just a workout or a food plan. To be able to help people on an even deeper level, I then studied to become a Certified Behavioral Change Specialist through ACE, so I am able to work with people on the deeper, emotional and psychological connections with food and body image. A holistic approach to wellness is one of mind, body & spirit, taking into account the individual's unique needs.
I realized in this holistic approach that travel was a large part of wellness and so with that, my lifestyle brand was born!
It is an honor and privilege to me to be able to help people facilitate creating ultimate health- mind, body & spirit along with beautiful moments and memories!
